Shifting to Pune from Delhi

I have spent most of my working life (about 17 years) in Pune barring a few years outside India for an onsite assignment. During the initial phase of my career I was always desperate to relocate to NCR which is close to my hometown, say 12 hrs by train or road, unlike 24-36 hrs from Pune. However I feel a bit confused now about it. I am not sure how easy/difficult and stupid/wise it would be to make a move now. Any suggestions feedback?

Would it be a good idea to accept a job opportunity to shift to Pune given I would be the only Indian in a team that works across US and UK? DSM and meetings would be mostly at night and I would be stretched across 3 different time zones plus no other Indian team members. Bangalore is kinda expensive for my salary rn but Pune Baner side I don't see major differences in rent compared to Bangalore.
