How much do we need to retire?
Super frustrated with my job( love the money bit it sucks my peace of mind) . Have savings(combined me and my husband) of 5 cr(MF,FD,PF,ppf) . No assets. When can i leave this corporate slavery?
I was under the impression that a person with that wealth would figure this much out. Now it seems like the stress never goes away
Tbh 5Cr without having home is a bit on the lower side. Perhaps you might need 8-10Cr (without including paid off home that you're living in) to retire
Ya exactly. Buying a decent flat is about 1-2 cr these days. Cant even think to put half of life savings to one asset where you dont even own the lamd
Try buying flat or plot in up and coming area with metro station nearby. It will shoot up
You can always move to a tier 2 city/town. This can help in keeping your expenses low and allow you to have more flexibility with your savings
Imo you have enough savings. You can retire now easily. What's your age right now.
