What to do with old clothes?

I have explored few options, but not working 1. People working around us (cleaner, washer) do not want used clothes. Fair enough. 2. H&M gives 10% discount for every medium size bag of clothes 3. Can donate to NGOs like Goonj Based in Gurgaon. If you share some suggestions/experiences

@BiryaniEnthu Clothes are shit. Bad for environment, get old quickly. I recently heard that US used to donate its used clothes to African nations but there is no demand so they just eventually ended up in landfills. I haven't found any end good use yet. Except if you can make rag bags which look nice but can't really use them.

Agreed, recycling all at our end is tough. If there are any startups who take care of it, it would be so good!

They can't. There is no way to recycle. Too many old clothes of too little use. Also, there isn't any money. I tend to go to thrift shops and check out 2nd hand clothes. Guy clothes are out of condition and have no variety. Women wear has good designs and is generally unused.

Anyway to donate old clothes online?

I have a lot of old clothes in my hometown, which is a tier 2 city. I want to donate these clothes to charity. I've donated a lot to local schools and NGOs already, so I'm looking for ways to do it online elsewhere. Is there a way to donate old clothes (men's) online where they'll arrange for a pickup? I know in metro cities we have a ton of options but is there any which will do a pickup from tier2/3 cities? Any leads are welcome. Thanks.

How often do your jeans last?

It is such a cringe question but one of my colleagues commented that my jeans look old and I should throw them out. I bought them 7 years ago from Levi's and wear them almost everyday. Ofcourse, they are faded from the navy blue that they were to a more whitish blue and it is quite worn out. I thought it added to the appeal. I mean I can throw them out right now( they only cost me 2.5k back then) but I wonder what is the lifecycle of jeans for most people here.
