Career Crossroads: Navigating between Product Management and Analytics

Hey everyone, I'm currently at a crossroads in my career and seeking advice. I have 3.5 years of experience in social media analytics and make 6.5LPA. My academic background is a little messed up as I dropped out of engineering to study BBA. I'm passionate about technology and am trying to decide between a career in product management or analytics. I'm also planning to apply to business schools this year. I'm wondering where I can make more money in the long term. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not a career counselor. Just sharing thoughts:

Product Management comes with a lot of cross-functional needs while Analytics is more of an IC role across teams. Now if the goal is to make money, try to be among top 2% analysts otherwise product gives you decent 👌 😉

With over 10+ years of experience in Product management within the insurance and Fintech sector, I’ve realized that product management is still not understood/defined well as a role. I’m open to all sort of queries.
