Sometimes late at night I'm hit with the thought that my parents won't be there with me forever.
This causes a serious meltdown in an instant. Just sharing here so that if anyone reads this.. reach out to your folks and love them with all. 🙂
I was recently checking on some old photos and found my parent's youngest years pictures and comparing them to how they are today - I had tears and many thoughts ran by!
Remember...
1. Don't hurt them.
2. Stay with them when most required
3. Listen to them
4. Think before what u say
5. Travel with them
At end, u should have good moments with them to cherish with.

I feel so all the time! It’s soooo heartbreaking to see them grow older and weaker
Worst thing is, you grow up seeing them doing impossible tasks and now they face difficuly while getting up from chair,like how could this be possible then it hits you they are aging
Well, we might die before then as well. Just enjoy the pr event and don't make x LPA as the ultimate target of life.

Read this on Twitter. If a person living away from their parents visits them twice a year and supposed the parents are there for another 30 years then that person is only going to visit them 60 more times.
Hits hard when you realise this.
Same! Literal tears out of nowhere and then I lose my sanity seeing old pictures of my mother and compare them to now.
Brevity of life hits hard when you think about this. I freaking no way can imagine life without them.
