Looking for guidance on CFA Level 1
Can anyone share some effective study techniques and resources for preparing for CFA Level 1? I am aiming to pass in the first attempt. Thanks!
Hi friends! I have recently started studying finance and economics, and would like to try my hand at giving CFA, if there’s someone who has already prepared for it could you please share important course material or a study plan to go about it?

Hey peeps 👋🏻
I'm a software engineer but I had a deep interest in finance. S how can I get into Finance roles like IB and analyst. So right now I have given NISM certification test but thinking about CFA but that is really one of its...
Hello Grapevine folks, I am currently a final year student at one of the IIIT. I am not satisfied in pursuing a tech role in future .
Since I want to change my career I am clear that I have to go in management role . But I have not deci...
I cleared it a few days back.
My Background:
Currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Commerce.
Scored near the 90th Percentile.
I took Aswini Bajaj's coaching, however given your Non Commerce background I wouldn't recommend him since his content on FSA and Econ wasn't up to the mark.
Apply for the scholarship window opening near 22nd Jan, even if you don't get it you'll still get a lot of flexibility in terms of using your Early Bird Discount. You'll be able to apply with Early Bird Discount for Aug attempt even in June.
Follow whatever study plan the prep provider gives you and only use Schweser, it's more than sufficient.
My order of study generally was: Watch content videos Read Schweser Practice End of Chapter Questions from CFAI official book. However I only did this for practical topics and numerical based readings, if I had to do it 'd do practice of even theory readings side by side
Non-Commerce shouldn't be big of an issue since I feel most of the topics that are testable in the exam are not done by commerce students either, for reference I score the least in FSA :)). However FSA will take up more of your time since this will be your first time doing it.
If you have any other query you can mention me in the replies, hope this suffices.
Thanks for the detailed plan !
Go with Mark Meldrum considering your background. You won't regret it.
Hey how’s it working at kroll? What are the exit options?
