Most of them made life changing money ( 20-30 Cr +) so whether laid off/ existed, their life sorted moneywise.

i feel the same.. these are not layoffs.. they are exits.. The disagreement would have been the amount of money they can "rise" by selling dreams. the co-founder who felt satisfied decided to exit the casino.

Knew about ShareChat. Back in 2018, Farid was the CEO, but by 2019, Ankush was made the CEO. Then came the CFO(Manohar Charan), along with VCs, the company dynamics slowly started changing by 2020. It was bound to happen.
By 2022, Farid’s involvement decreased a lot. Bhanu’s involvement was anyways quite less from 2019 itself.

Heard recently Manohar is calling the shots rather than Ankush. Any idea?

Venture Capital layoffs

I heard that even VCs like Sequoia and Matrix Venture Partners are laying off people

Sequoia has laid off 3 Analysts, 1 VP and 1 associate and Matrix has laid off 5-6 people

Any thoughts? Is it true?

Are layoffs due to recession?

Had this thought since long back, but there's one common pattern I have witnessed. Since the Twitter layoffs, all the companies out there (including FAANG/MAANG) have joined with the layoffs trend. What's surprising is that most of thes...
