Conspiracy Theory
(Disclaimer: My ADHD brain can not be trusted at times. Apologies if the below sounds like brain fart)
Now, I think Bangalore is being defamed and shown as a crisis because the North Indian Real estate lobby wants to push folks away from investing in Bangalore and rather invest in the NCR region. Bangalore has lower ready to move in inventory whereas NCR is filled with projects but no buyers (this is hearsay, I don’t have data). Everyone , irrespective of their hometown wants to buy in Bangalore but that is not the case with NCR. With Mr Adani investing close to a billion in NCR region , they want to push buyers away from Bangalore and into NCR.
Any thoughts?
Sabko ADHD nahi hota mitr. Don't force a Mental Health Issue upon oneself.
Real Estate isn't the only reason, Bangalore is being defamed.
Issues like Infrastructure, Affordability or maybe a bit of Racism are common in most of the Tier 1 cities.
It's just that Bangalore's Urban planning isn't as good as new regions of NCR like Noida, some bit of Gurgaon and now Greater Noida.
Surely the Racism is there but the language based superiority isn't there in NCR. You won't be denied service if you speak a different language, yes the communication would be difficult but people can do.
Infrastructure wise, the old areas which weren't properly planned get flooded every monsoon but the newly developed regions don't retain water.
Metro and better Bus routes provide efficient transportation intercity. Plus most roads are straight and wide so Autos-Rickshaw, E-Rickshaws etc barely take time to reach your destination.
Being the Capital, there is more Migration of people from all over the nation. Hence people eventually adjust to live with people with cultural, language and lifestyle differences hence the language based Racism isn't really there.
Due to more availability of real estate the prices are not as much as Bangalore.
Companies are moving out because earlier the ecosystem required to start a tech company only existed in Bangalore, connecting with VCs, partners, tech stack providers etc were mostly based out of Bangalore but with the onset of remote working companies realised most of these can be done from anywhere. At the same time the commercial real estate pricing is lower.
Also diversity is required to develop good products. This diversity often comes from certain regions. NCR gets more diverse migrants hence having employees from various backgrounds and lifestyle helps as well
Mera doctor se diagnosed wala hai mansik issue.
And completely agree with the planning and last mile connectivity pros.
Par mera mudda ye tha ki jitne issues Bangalore mei hai, uthne hi NCR mei bhi, but Bangalore wale zabardasti highlight hotey hain.
e.g Bangalore ke road rage cases end up on news. But Jo news mei ata hai Waisi cheezein NCR mei mere sath hafte mei 2 baar toh ho hi Jathi thi.
Things become news due to things being viral. Bangalore has more techies who would reshare, tweet, post any videos about these issues also some Keyboard warriors.
NCR has less tech enthu people. Barely people who tweet or act like keyboard warriors. There isn't really a mass impartment of information. Plus being the Capital, there is more political news to capture for media houses.
At the same time, Bangalore which is celebrated as the Silicon Valley of India and is expected to have state of the art infrastructure (in order to be comparitive to SF Valley), a rather high earning population hence high tax paying region as well as people too are expected to be more "intellect" yet when the issues are visible it is more disappointing than compared to NCR.
Which is why there will always be more issues with people, regions, communities with higher expectations.
