People who have been there from the beginning have become so insecure about being relevant that they have created corridors for how ideas should pass in the system.
I know some of these folks & few more who have left and are in stealth. All say the same thing. Some even mentioned that cred salary has priced them out of the market & change means taking a cut. But as human nature has it, we would rather do subpar work over taking lower salaries and do something meaningful.
