Current job market
Hi everyone, I am somebody who hasn't interviewed in a while and wanted to get a quick pulse about how the job market is right now. Looking to hear about personal anecdotes. What has your experience been like in today's market compared to 2021? For people who got a huge hike in 2021, how have your appraisals been like? Are you facing issues while switching?
Personally, I haven't been getting random emails from recruiters like I used to get back in 2020/21. Have you also seen a slowdown?
For people who have not been looking out, how have appraisals been for you this year compared to 2021 when attrition was quite high?
Interviews have started from last week. Market is a bit open right now. Projects have started coming in. - couple of my startup founder friends
Which companies do you know that are actively hiring? I don't see much funding news around and a lot of my friends who work at startups tell me about how their runway is less than a year and they are trying so hard to raise a new round asap.
Fluxon, nemetschek, dell benagaluru, etc
The only thing stopping you from hearing their response is the sheer size of applicants in the market right now. Luck has to be on your side.
I am being interviewed everyday from past 10 days.
No hike, Layoffs, stay whenever you are. Too much supply in the job market. Only selective hiring is going on.
