They've been around for a while. It's a paid format only afaik, no freemiums to fliter out casual folks.
I've never heard of a lot of people dating or getting hitched through there though. And the founder seems like someone is forcing him to do personal branding lol.

Maybe you've confused it with betterhalf.ai that's paid only. Aisle has free version that allows chat.
I signed up when they had just started, it was paid only back then iirc. So I ended up skipping.
