I think because it's the low hanging fruit m It's close to impossible to solve men's pain points in dating. 🥲
The dating apps algorithms are shittier. In Bymble, if you keep swiping right for 2-3 cards your premium ends right away and you can only swipe right a day after, however if you swipe right and left for some cases you get to swipe right more!
Also if you get a match the probability of you getting another match is much lower, if you uninstall the app and relogin after longer duration then your match probability increases. You can also increase this match probability by paying a premium however when premium ends it goes to another low and to increase this again they charge. Their revenue model is the desperation of Indian men with lack of matches. The premium packages for a day goes as low as 20₹ :')
Most people get tired of casual talk and ghost. Boys at disadvantage due to 3:1 ratio. Hookups - only usecase left.
Ratio is 93:7, even worse.

One of the usp of these dating apps, atleast in India is you are unlikely to find/seen by your relatives/family. Insta not so much
It’s good! A friend of mine got duped by a girl whom he met via Bumble!! Talked nicely for a couple of weeks and this nalayak gifted her iPhone and what not. He also seemed to be okay with naming his paternal properties on this girls name on the context of marriage!! Girl stopped communicating after a month and no where to be found.

I never got matches even after paying 😂. Experience was the same in all dating apps including Tinder and aisle.
