Earning 24 LPA as QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Hy I'm earning 24 LPA as QA with 2 year of exp planning to do MBA confused should I go for full time or executive MBA

Me: APM with almost 2 years of experience looking to do an MBA to fast track my career. Post-MBA roles: - Product Management - Strategy Roles - Program/Project Management - General Management - Other similar roles Long term goal: To stay in India; fine with working 2-3 years abroad. Query 1: Considering an average profile with 9/8/8 in high school/intermediate/college, tier-1 undergrad and 2 years work-ex at a start-up. Do I have a chance to bag an MBA admit from the following with little scholarship: - LBS - Insead - HEC Paris - Oxford - Cambridge - SDA Bocconi - NUS Singapore - IESE - ISB I'm targeting 1 year programs only for cost purposes, hence the US is out of the picture. Feel free to suggest good 1 yr US programs Query 2: How much GMAT is required for my profile to get into these schools? Query 3: Are 2 year IIM Programs more advisable for me and should I leave abroad colleges altogether. At the maximum, I can't wait more than 3 years of work-ex at the time of applying due to personal reasons. Please guide me🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi! I’m in a huge dilemma and looking out for any advice I can get. I currently have 1.5 years of work ex and want to pursue MBA. Im confused if I should complete 2 years of work ex and then quit to do full time mba prep or quit right away to do prep. My quant is weak so I will need a lot of practice to crack CAT. 2 year criteria comes in so that I can keep options like ISB open as it requires a minimum of 2 year work ex. Any advice would be highly appreciated!

I am into engineering and making decent money (28 LPA fixed + ESOPs) and I am very happy with my job. Given my work, I expect decent raise in coming years. But I think doing CAT preparation and doing MBA preparation will give me better opportunities and will grow me as high value person. Anyone (especially people in engg) with preparation experience or how is the life changed after MBA?

I'm currently working as a SDE and earning around 4-5 LPA. I'm planning to pursue an online MBA from a private college so that I can continue working at my current company. I'm seeking advice from anyone with experience in online MBAs, particularly regarding placement after completing the program and which private college is best for it. I have just 6-7 months of full-time experience. I would appreciate guidance from seniors.

Thinking of doing an MBA degree Main factor worrying me is I'm making a good amount of money in my current job (20lpa, 2yoe), but I want to do an MBA to gain a broader perspective/get a business outlook/make friends😔/personal growth. I'm kinda hell bent on going for it, but also worried about how to extract time for prep etc as I would not want to go below the top 6-7 colleges. Want to know others experience who went through a similar situation. Is it worth it ?

I am deeply worried, to the extent of feeling depressed, about my career trajectory. I feel I made a mistake by switching tracks via doing an MBA with 10 yrs exp. I was a QA for a decade and tried a lot to break into PO roles( worked in a product based org on mobile apps for 6 years). It did not work and the director of PM advised me to do the one year fulltime MBA. Not sure why I gave in to his advice, but I gave GMAT and began with an 18 month Full time program at a Tier-1 Bschool. Cracked placement in the first go but got into IT services( not in WITCH), and now I am stuck being a PMO for a client. Even when I look at my resume, I see a crappy profile, everything is disjointed and makes no sense now. No wonder I get no calls. I don't want to go back to QA, this Project Management work is shitty( cannot see any learning happening, but the client is happy so I'm stuck in this project. ) I want to move to PM, thinking maybe CSPM can help, not sure where I am headed. Any guidance for this middle aged dinosaur 😞

Hi guys, I have between 5-6 years of experience in engineering role (QA/Test automation). However over these years I have found the role to be unfulfilling due to the growth, impact and visibility. I have been considering going for a full time executive MBA (In India/Abroad) to switch into a PM/Strategy role. Wanted to understand if this is going to be really worth it, considering I will have high chances to start again at an entry level position? Or is this common to do post MBA?

Hi I am currently at 1.5YOE earning around 60-65k appx I am getting opportunities to do an MBA in tier 2 colleges like IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIM Nagpur etc Should I consider them or should I take a drop for a Tier1 MBA or should I continue to grow workex and switch in IT domain only ?
