Promoting a B2C app on Twitter. Need advice.

Hi @Grapevine team and Community marketing enthusiast who have worked on 0-1/1-10, We are building a community app related to dating and figuring out unpaid marketing channels what will work or not since we don’t have much money to do paid marketing. How did you started grapevine and manage community effects, did you go to paid channels? Do you believe in grow fast or die or growing slow in community apps is also fine since credibility comes with size of community. Hey Folks! I was planning on launching a new age social media application. What are some good strategies I can apply to growth hack that shiz. Im planning paying some Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram influencers and asking some of my buddies who have a good following to post screenshots of the app. To make it look organic, they’ll post some topic to rile up the audience and get that engagement. Also we are planning to not mention the app name in the tweet but always have it in the replies so it looks organic and is if our app is already the talk of the town Does anyone have any suggestions? Does this sound like a good plan. I paid a freelance growth consultant a lot of money for this plan. How does it sound? Anyone has any thoughts? Folks?

I have full stack development experience and I still code. I work with a product company on healthcare domain. I want to build something solo as a side hustle. And with the tech knowledge I have acquired, I am 100% confident I can build it. I’ve already gathered some mobile app/platform ideas and have been working on a few of them. Doing some research as well. The thing I lack is a strategy and direction to reach prospective users. I have no idea about how startups operate. I have never been into freelancing either. I know nothing about regulations and law. I have only a limited knowledge about investment. My short term plan is to finish building some MVP features of the apps and publish them to Playstore/AppStore. (I’m sorry, I do not wish to reveal the ideas now) How to reach users 0-1, 1-10 and 10-100? How should I plan financially? Isn’t it possible to go solo? I have someone in the US who has agreed to help me in coding. But he has only 2 years of experience. One advantage is he can give me US insights. I don’t want to induct more members as no one is ready for commitment. Or people just back out even after committing to it. Btw, I am not active on social media. My network in the internet world with people isn’t great. I’m seeking advice from you guys on areas that I need to consider to make my app/platform grow. All this, is going to be side hustle.

"Resentment and complaint, is neither good for oneself, nor for others". Yesterday I made a post on Tech Bros from some companies and how they behave on social media. I also wrote I don't want generalize this to whole workforce of these companies. Apparently, Grapevine team posted it on Twitter and it has gone kinda viral. I saw few tweets by folks at RazorPay and honestly my rant wasn't meant for them. I actually admire one of the guy there as an engineer. But still I can't live with the thought that I made someone angry or sad. So I want to apologize for the post I made yesterday and have deleted it. @Grapevine team. I know this post won't make for a good marketing material but it would be great if you could tweet this. It will take some load of my chest. Thanks!
