Client companies and third party payroll

Every company like infy and Tcs have Client for which Tcs employees work, so basically we can say that Tcs pay their employees but they do work for client, how is that different from anyone working for third party payroll, even in 3rd party payroll, employees works for someone else and gets paid by the 3rd party, so can't we say that on earlier case Tcs is like 3rd party???

Does anybody have any experience of working on third party payroll for a MNC? How does it work and should I be apprehensive of it and what should I take care of I join in such a setup. Thanks.

I have recently got a job offer from a small third party company where I will be working for big tech companies. It seems like a great learning opportunity for me, and the money they are offering is also decent. But I am concerned about job security and growth because I want to climb up the corporate ladder. Can any experienced person tell me the pros and cons of third party payroll job?

I’m not talking about companies like Meta, Google or companies that have their branch offices in India. Even Turing has registered India entity to pay employee salaries. For example, take Miro. They have offices in Amsterdam but they don’t have a registered entity/office in India. Can companies like those hire Indian workers and make them work remotely from India? If yes, how would they pay salary? They won’t have official payroll here and without a registered entity they can’t pay PF. How does this salary thing works in this case? And do we have to pay taxes for both the countries? Reason for asking: I was watching “Silicon Valley” and there was an episode where Pied Pieper hires 3 engineers from India, Pak and Europe without having any official offices in those country. How would they pay their salaries? Also, read somewhere on Medium that few people are working this way and getting paid $ equivalent of their salaries. If anyone knows anything about this kindly share info on comments.

Guys, one of my friends has given an offer to join Infosys by a third party payroll and they said that after one year depending on his performance they will get him in direct payroll of Infosys. Is it fine for him or for him career, growth and future? If anyone has faced this kind of experience please let me know what will be the better way? So yeah a friend of mine got his salary deducted by 12%. He got a D band as he came from onsite two months ago and took a leave, after which he was in bench for 1 month. Now while checking revised compensation he noticed that his salary got deducted by 12%. Pushing him back 2 years of increment. On the other hand I got 4.5% increment for pulling 12 hours days.

Why do some companies hire via third party payroll. Secondly what things a person shall be wary of before joining on thir party payroll

Hi everyone, let me tell you a fact regarding TCS. In 2022 I was part of a technical interview panel and select a candidate. As it was a virtual session, HR was also present. Once I selected that guy HR discussed about the salary. You dont belive in same technology having less than 5 years of experience than me HR agreed to offer a package which is 30% more than my package. I understood the loyal value of my employment being there for more than 7 years. Its really demotivates me in terms of everything and now i hv decided to leave TCS and untill i am there in TCS wont take any interview atleast. TCS doesn't care about its loyal employee.
