Hey guys, I am a DS with 3YOE and have offers for DS and MLOps roles,
DS role is in Blore (greater pay but greater cost of living) MLOps role is remote (lesser pay but little to no cost of living as I stay with my parents)
I have seen a lot of shift towards ML engineer or MLOps field now, so wondering, should I switch to MLOps?
MLops career wise is not the best field to work compared to DS roles
Why so
Bro MLOPS is in high demand, and here the cost of living, the income tax, and everything is gonna be a problem with DS role.
Do we want to live well or earn well?
MLOps will allow you greater optionality down the line of you want to switch fields.
DS role will allow you to go much higher.
I am a student and I wonder MLOps is great, good demand job,
And you can live with parents which is very good . I hope you live with your parents , their aura will help you from staying away from wrong things.
My parents' only "presence" helped me leave my smoking habits.
Mlops is preferred always

Data engineering or data science with mlops has better career option in next 10 years
