Big 4 to Tier 1 law firms shift

It would be easy to find out who I am if I say anything more but I have worked in cross-collaborative roles across my careers spanning multiple decades in Big4s. I have led several projects for Govt of India and Public Sector Organizations. Personally I have worked in multidisciplinary fields mostly in IT and Databases. I have recently worked in Solution designing and Enterprise Architecture for many large orgs. Most of this is Digital strategy for many offline first businesses. Ask me Anything!

Hi, I am recently promoted as senior consultant in a Big 4, Transfer pricing divison (tax) waiting for annual hike and bonus. Fixed 12L, Variable 1.5L. Experience 2.5 years What are other big 4s paying for Similar experience?

Hi! I have a professional dilemma and would appreciate any thoughts, advice and experience you can share. I have a 5+ years in strategy consulting working for a Big4 - I like my work, team and the organisation Though, now I crave for some different experience - maybe work for startup’s or a VC firm I have been offered a job in a boutique investment bank - which works with startup’s in India My questions: 1. Is it worth switching for a Big4 to a Boutique Investment Bank - will it effect my further employability 2. Does this get me closer to my goal of working for a VC fund someday? 3. I'm a lawyer at a law firm in India - 2 YOE, about INR 24 lakhs pa. The money is great for my age, obviously, but the hours can be truly soul crushing. Are there former lawyers here who've made the switch? Are you experiencing a big financial upside/ downside?

Joined big 4 recently, after MBA, thought would land-up in strategy roles but placed in functional ERP role, Considering fresher with 0 tool knowledge in SAP, post mba along with 3.5 yrs of exp in amazon this is a fresh start for me. So thinking to move towards ESG as this motivates me a lot to work, how is this space, to move lateral in same org need 1.5 yrs mandarory exp in same firm, Want to apply with same package outside but i know would get less benefits with what i have now, but atleast would start working on ESG field and grow from here. How is this industry in India, would like to know more thoughts
