Deloitte WLB

My husband is working for deloitte for last 5 years. and as they mostly have US projects i have noticed they are expected to work late in night along with their regular normal day shift. but they are not compensated in any way for the overtime or shift payment. The onshore managers are Indians and they dont have any empathy towards offshore team. With these long working hours he got issue with spinal cord this year making him on bed rest for a whole month. He has recovered by very fragile. i worried working like this if continues it can relapse and worse things can happen. How can i convince my husband to leave the job? he is so depressed he dont even want to apply outside or prepare his resume as well. is this trend normal for all USI projects? is everyone working 19-20 hrs?
