How many designers are working as designers after 45? Is it possible to survive in the industry after 40s? If yes, what are some strategies to survive in the market? Asking this for one of my friends, who is now 42 and is working as a leadership position.
I think the product design field won't be relevant after 10 years down the line with more advancement of LLM & LAM...if companies have enough data to train LAM eventually it will replace junior designers...now every startup will work in lean team structure with just one product person required that can wear multiple hats & every task will work in automation
Too early to clearly see. Lots of flux. There will still be a need for someone to take care of the design function/aspects full time.
