So I took sabbatical leave because I could not get WFH for 3 months as I had to recover from some medical thing.
(for those who don't know Sabbatical Leave is a few months UNPAID/PAID break from the company, in my case it's unpaid).
I didn't even knew something like this even existed.
But I was anyway looking to switch my job because they kind of scammed me ( They hired 7 of us from college placement as interns, that time expected CTC they mentioned was 8-10LPA but after giving 100% efforts for 7 months internship they offered me 5 LPA + 50K variable (final amount). )
I accepted the offer just to not sit idle until I get a new offer. So from past 4 months since I accepted the full time offer I am grinding leetcode again and getting referrals.
(Yes I didn't applied and stopped leetcode while i was interning to get that 10LPA).
Now I think this is the best to grind and get a good offer atleast ×2 times the current one, so a HR from a company in which I got refferal to is asking me that will I have to serve notice period as I'm on a sabbatical leave ( which I am completely unaware of) because I couldn't not ask my company HR the same for obvious reasons.
So in worst case as I need a good offer badly, I'm planning to even not serve notice period even if they ask me to. (They don't have any Hard Copy of my any documents).
Any one been in similar situations any suggestions please?
