Hello all! I am working as HR Head in a growth stage startup in Bangalore. So many people here talk about compensation, culture, growth etc. Happy to answer questions related to HR/Culture/Startups.
Perfios recently received a funding of 230 million dollars. For the employees who didn't have ESOPs or benefit from the ESOPs, would there be a good salary hike associated here?
How has the appraisal been in other companies following a round of funding?
I received a 70% hike when the previous startup I was working in secured a series B funding. The appraisal was after 1.5 years. Then again, my CTC was <20L. The higher your CTC, the lesser the percentage hike would be.
Which company was thus?
The employee strength wasn’t huge, so can’t say the name. Sorry.
It was a startup in the recruitment/staffing space.
No
Can you provide some reasons/experiences?
Certainly, good hike would be based on individual performance and general hikes in terms of baseline would be decided based on companies overall performance. So hikes has nothing to do with funding. But no hikes can be related to funding.
