Does a round of startup funding lead to a good hike during appraisal?

Perfios recently received a funding of 230 million dollars. For the employees who didn't have ESOPs or benefit from the ESOPs, would there be a good salary hike associated here?

How has the appraisal been in other companies following a round of funding?

I received a 70% hike when the previous startup I was working in secured a series B funding. The appraisal was after 1.5 years. Then again, my CTC was <20L. The higher your CTC, the lesser the percentage hike would be.

Which company was thus?

The employee strength wasn’t huge, so can’t say the name. Sorry.

It was a startup in the recruitment/staffing space.

Can you provide some reasons/experiences?

Certainly, good hike would be based on individual performance and general hikes in terms of baseline would be decided based on companies overall performance. So hikes has nothing to do with funding. But no hikes can be related to funding.

It depends. If the employees are already well paid then maybe not. Otherwise they might give an above average hike. Will follow this thread to learn what happens
