Does anyone have any idea on what a Data Fabric is?

I came across a product from Comcast called as DataBee. Would like to know if there are any similar tools in market like this. What is the scope for such products?

Data Fabric is like a big blanket that covers and connects all your data, no matter where it is. DataBee is a tool that helps make this blanket. Other tools? Yes, there are many like Talend Data Fabric, Denodo, etc. Scope? Huge! Every business needs this blanket to make sense of their data. It's like finding your way in a jungle of information.
