I am currently in my notice period and have received an offer from a company in a similar domain with good pay and benefits, what should I do?

Non compete is not enforceable in India. You should talk to a lawyer friend and understand specifics of your contract...
Nobody cares about the non-compete. Have you come across recruiters that do care about it? Do let us know.
Anti compete is illegal. Call up a labour lawyer and fight it out.
