Does Non Compete really matter

I am currently working for a startup for about 3 yrs now and they made me sign a non compete which states that I cannot join a similar domain work for 2 yrs post termination. I am currently in my notice period and have received an offer from a company in a similar domain with good pay and benefits, what should I do?

But companies are tracking employees through UAN portal so it's to be caught if employers are actively checking bro ...be cautious

It's universal account no mentioned on your payslip...so any employer can check any employee employment history through PF traces...now a days employers have become too active in tracing to avoid moonlighting and catch non- compete issues

Simple, don’t update on LinkedIn 😅

Yea currently I am planning to do that but in background checks the company name might be revealed

But other than that as well, I think my LinkedIn won't be updated, will that be a problem in the future for future opportunities
