BLR to HYD??

Hello, My company has started Hybrid working model, I’m currently stay with my mom in my home town (7 to 8 hours from Bangalore by road). Couple of my team mates are going to office, most of the colleagues are not. Do you think I should move to BLR, considering like 2 weeks in Bangalore and 2 weeks in hometown. Found a place in BLR which is like 18k per month.

We are a digital marketing agency focused on helping startups (funded). We are currently remote with the team spread across the country. I'm contemplating moving base to Bangalore - a lot of folks say that Bangalore is the place to be for my business. Need some real advice, would me being physically present in Bangalore help my business? Do startups prefer Bangalore based agencies vs other city/remote agencies?

This is kinda weird and unexpected - It has just been a couple of months since I left my previous company (a Unicorn) from a senior role in business. I left on good terms due to reasons like : Lack of personal growth in sales-led roles and being in the same industry for long. I had just moved from BLR to Gurgaon to a new startup (run by a conglomerate) and it has not exactly gone as per my expectations - no Hybrid WFH option (WFH is not very common in non-tech domains too); extreme micromanagement and the weather+vibes in Gurgaon (no offence please). Now, my previous company has called me back for a strategy role. I'm super confused: 1. I prefer BLR any day 2. I prefer working in Hybrid mode any day 3. But I left my previous company due to stagnation in sales roles. The role offered to me now is a Strategy+ Partnership one. 4. I am not exactly sure how I will tell my current employer about this. It will be a dark mark?

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Be honest, NCR people .. do you guys really choose blr,Hyd if given choice b/w NCR and Blr,Hyd. If yes, why?
