work on weekends/late night

Context: I work at a startup, it's a pretty chill work environment, very flexible, hybrid model. Everything is great. Problem: They take flexible work hours too seriously, I have meetings at 10 PM on weekdays and almost every weekend there's some work which they need the next day in most cases but apparently have to keep the meeting on the weekend with no prior notice. I mean, i like going to office twice a week around 11-12 and coming back around 7, wfh when I have a few meetings that day but is it normal to work on weekends? and after work hours? P.S. I've only been in this company for a month and joined as a fresher. Now that I've put it down, this is such a gen z problem lol But what should I do?

So thing is In last 1 week my manager/project lead has been threating that you will have to work on weekend if you dont complete your task by friday and put the the task to testing. And this boils my blood soo damnn much . But as a person who is on lowest level i cant do/say shit. I just disagree with him and dont argue. What would you have done .[ practical advice only] And thing is i do all my dev work on time even earlier almost everytime and he just goes around and threatens everyone with this. Soo annoying thay dumbfk needs to get rekt .

How do you define work life balance boundaries at work? Everyone in my team works 10-12 hrs daily, it’s business as usual for them. I joined recently and it’s very problematic for me, I literally get no time to do anything else. I fear, that if I highlight this I’ll be singled out. Some people even feel very proud in doing so which I don’t understand. Don’t they want to go back home to their family and spend time with them? Please provide guidance on how to set these boundaries and am I thinking right?

Manager texts me on teams after work hours (we don't have login and logout) ,if I don't respond. He will text me on WhatsApp. Do irritating,how do u guys maintain boundaries

I moved to Bangalore few months back and started working for a manufacturing resource planning SaaS company so I don’t like the work culture over here they have six days work week and sometimes I work overnight also due to this reason I have zero social life and I am pissed off from my work also cannot upscale myself.  Whenever we say that we need Saturdays off the CEO says that after funding is raised the Saturdays will be off it really doesn’t make sense.  also people over here or micromanaging every time asking for every Nick of details. I am annoyed with this shit  If any companies are hiring for remote roles or five day work week companies with the said work life balance I am looking for a change do let me know in the comments. For context: Weekends are off. So just fri WFH. This is a Series B startup. I am not even asking for a leave but WFH for just 1 day. I joined recently. The only thing I did wrong was possibly informing a little too late. Want to get opinion if I am overthinking or this classifies as toxic culture in startups where you are expected to push limits above and beyond regularly and sometimes weekends. ---
