Corporate Strategy Role

Hi i work in Investment banking (back end) profile. However after 4 years of spending in this team, my team has been changed to valuation team. The work in this team would take time for me to adept however to be frank I don’t like the work at all and see it to be not useful outside the team. Meanwhile I have been offered a corporate strategy associate role at a US based company. Can anyone please tell me as to how is a career in corporate strategy supposed to look, is changing the profile worth it anymore and what sort of work we do in strategy. Really need your inputs. I'm more interested in Supply Chain management/ operations/ logistics. My MBA background is also Marketing/ Operations. Hey! Looking for a switch to a strategy/Partnership roles. The work culture is not very bad to the point I have stopped people from applying. I have 1 year of workex and have worked on 5 projects during my stint. Most of my projects were led by me with some support from senior consultant. Work included Impact Consulting project for a state government, DD for a Infra Conglomerate, financial modelling for 2 companies and one strategy and PMO piece. Ik the market is tough rn but any lead would be great!

I am SDE and I joined a company 2.5 months back. I don't like the work that I am doing and the company is far from being profitable+ a huge cash burn + management is not good. I interviewed with some other company and they have offered me a role. On paper it's an upgraded role but they are offering the exact salary as the current one + some esops. Would you accept the offer if you were in my place? Some general info: 1. Hate the work I am doing currently, the knowledge I get here can't be used in other companies. 2. Work is slow, not learning anything new 3. New company seems good from outside till now, have to validate with ex-employees 4. New company has Hybrid work, current is WFO 5. Have another offer which is paying a bit more than the 'new company' but don't want to join it, These guys are not matching the offer sadly
