Java vs Node js

Which backend technology, Java or Node.js, currently holds a stronger position in the market?

Hi guys, I am currently working in a SAAS startup as a backend Engineer. Tech stack: MERN, AWS, little bit of GenAI now. I know most big companies use Java springboot for their backend, so I'm thinking to learn it is I want to switch later. Or should I go for golang as it's becoming very hot in recent times. Or should I continue with NodeJS? Let me know your suggestion. I have worked on little front end development as well.

Short version:-So guys I am working as an automation tester wanted to switch to Development? Long version:- So i joined my current company as fresher Had basic knowledge of java then was trained on java spring boot Microservices devlopment. Then put on bench for about 4 month(i actually wasted that time).Now got a project I do automation using python and selenium.I don't like doing it . So now I want to switch to development. Confused should i learn Django, Node js or should stick with java spring only. I am more inclined towards django as now i write automation script in python. And i personally feel it to be better then java (maybe cause it is easier to write).But i don't know market trends. That's why guidance needed.Thanks in advance

Why we don't use node js to build large scale application, in my small career of Full Time Engineering till now I haven't seen a monolithic app completely running on node JS as whole. Tho I have seen usage of node js everywhere but it's used for doing small task such as getting price of a crypto from multiple exchanges and then aggregating it(if we talk about a FinTech crypto app). I'm curious to know why people prefer Python(FastAPI, Django) over node js,tho js has asynchronous capabilities, it's understandable that Java and Golang are faster but why Python monolith over JS?

I am a Java backend developer with 3 YOE. But I am considering to work remotely and do freelance on side. All of this remote and freelancing opportunities and contributing to open source are much more available in typescript/node js. Should I switch? Has anybody here mad the switch successfully ? Any opinions on this are welcome

Hello all, I am a frontend developer (angular). I have 2+ yrs of experience, I want to transition into backend dev. But getting confused in which framework to choose, like spring boot, node, golang framework, django, flask etc. Since I don't have any experience in backend work, will it be a problem for me. Any other issues which I might face? Please guide.

I have generally observed that all system design discussions and tutorials (like youtube channel of Gaurav Sen, Concept and Coding etc) uses Java. My concern is that I work in NodeJS and try to implement the same in JS. I can also learn Java. But I want to know the main reason behind the same
