Increment this year?
Since we are seeing a lot of layoffs, a lot of companies are using this as an excuse to provide less increment this year. Interested to know what sort of increments are you’ll getting this year and how much did you get last year?
I got a good hike this year. Around 34% mostly because I got promoted and my hike in the previous year was shit. I work in finance

I don't think anything has changed for me. I understand the market situation and how it works. As long as I am employeed and paid according to the market. I am fine.

~35-40% last year
Felt the hike wasn’t enough last year because fresher salaries are shit here. Definitely not enough this year.
Thinking of switching after a few months.
Stuck with the company because:
-decent culture
-almost no micromanaging by manager & TL
-actually flexible hours, no one cares as long as you get quality work done

0% in my previous org got fed up of the toxic wc and a shitty manager switched and got 50% hike.

Joined in 2021 july, We got no hike last year due to some increment policy I wont get into that, this year everyone around me got a 20 percent, I got a 10% despite of getting the highest overall rating by my manager in the team and received multiple performance awards in the last 1.5 years. Make it make sense 😂
5% (think could’ve negotiated max to 10% best case) but it didn’t make any sense to me given expectations. I am considering moving out (not entirely a salary derived decision though)

9%. Increments in my team have gone upto 15%.ofcourse its on base and not RSUs so effective would be about 70% of this.

9.75%. Not a major increment to be honest that’s the best this company offers. Need to shift my base salary to atleast 18+. Do recommend companies looking to hire digital media manager (or social media manager).
I got 9% hike this year. I heard the max folks are getting is 15% but don’t no whats the truth. Managers won’t tell you the truth always

Yea microsoft published a week ago. Same trend everywhere. Expect zero hikes..same pattern everywhere...
