Folks! Please help me decide

Long story told short, I have couple of offers: from Deloitte and TCS with salary raise upto 40% from my current CTC. Ofcourse, I had plans to go ahead with Deloitte. My current YoE is 3.9Years. And I’ll be joining as an Analyst at Deloitte. (No change in band, im joining entry level position as my current company). But, If I complete 4 years of experience, I could move on to next band with significant change in pay slab joining as a consultant. My joining date is nearing, and I’m thinking to defer the offer for now, Try again after few months once I complete 4 years. What do you guys suggest?

Domain: SAP EWM consultant. YoE: 3.9 Years

Thank you in advance!

If you’re confident that you’ll crack it again then better to wait. Or while rejecting it as a reason tell them that you’re expecting the next slab. Maybe they will give.

This is way better than simply letting go.

@RealKeeper57 there are few factors you need to consider.

  1. You looked outside your existing your organisation because of many reasons. Don’t forget your reason why you did it in the first place.
  2. YOE matters while salary negotiations.
Currently 3.9 YOE and in Delloite you are getting 40%.
Change the company and get 40%. Stay back only if your existing company can match the same salary.
  3. Dont stay in the same company just because you can complete 4 years.

Always remember the crying baby gets the milk.
Unless you ask for it. You won’t get it.

I will make it simpler :

  1. Stay in same company and get what you get now
  2. Move to next company and get 40% hike
  3. Job market outside right now is not so great so take the offer.
