Hot take: IITians are nothing but a cesspool of entitled bunch who think they are elite. An outdated classist notion of them being successful, whoever filters on the IIT tag will lead their company to utter annihilation.

Most jee toppers would still score close if they didn’t start studying in 5th/6th. Most students who start at 5th/6th don’t get in anyway. It’s a skill thing at the end of the day, which is why non selection hurts so much more.
You can make up part of your ability w hard work, but dunkin on someone skilled cos he also put in the hard work is a brain dead take.
It’s repetitive question solving at the end of the day, which means if you get more time, you get better at it since you practice more.

Keep a test no? Like are IITians scared of a skill test? A hiring challenge seems like a decent solution. Anyone who passes it has potential, IIT or not.
Which company is hiring without any test? The real issue is their tests are too easy so a huge chunk of applicants end scoring 100%, that's why they need a filter
