You can do as much u want in ur early career but after like maybe 8 years u need to start staying longer term (2-3+ yrs. minimum). Don’t switch if u r learning tho. U may end up in bad place next and would have to switch again quickly. Try not to think too much about frequency but rather value addition of switching

Well bro nobody knows when will things get better so if u have reasons to look for a switch then just try first. If u get a better offer and stable company then why not. Just don’t take risk of seed startups or the likes

Every 3 years to ensure you got some kinda learnings. Donno what people gain switching every < 1 year.

Hike on current CTC ability to join new project if current one has no direction. Getting out of toxic culture etc and many more reason.💁🏻‍♂️

Don't switch job id you are doing well in your current company . Doing well means learning, money and great colleagues in a non toxic environment .

If not doing well, try to switch jobs every 3 years

Concerning point is that we get nominal hike in current company as compared to handsome salary hike while switching to other organisations.which tempts us to switch jobs.

Anything above 2 years is a good time to jump according to me and the % of hike is subjective and it varies from person to person i know folks how are happy with single. Digit hike and few who dont feel happy even if they get more than 30% hike

It all comes down to your situation in your current company if you feel you dont have anything new to learn and your company/project dont support you in your growth then you need to switch Or if your current ctc is not enough to meet your needs then you need to switch
