Heavily depends on the companies you are applying, some devs with similar experience are still at 10 and some have crossed 20. If you target service based they will cull you down to ~80% of your previous salary at most. If you target product based companies then you might see a bit better salaries.

But in pbc Frontend roles are few and competition for them is huge. Learning backend now.

Look, just because you have competition, doesn’t mean you won’t get in. If you just have good skills on both frontend and backend no one will hire you. Learning backend is good but be an expert in frontend first or else you will suffer later. Even when hiring for full stack they ask which is your expertise. And remove this notion of pbc having tough interviews. If you are skilled enough , you can get into them.

As a freelance dev I have found that salary depends on many factors including your last salary, your needs and budget of employers. While some companies have big budgets and are okay paying big amounts, they use your last salary as a measure of negotiation. On the other hand, some companies despite not having big budgets are willing to stress their pockets to afford the right candidate. So it totally depends on the companies and you. A frontend dev with your expreience can expect as low as 1.5L to as high as 15L to 20L.
