[Thread] What is your exact workout split?
I am done with Push Pull Legs and doing that 6 days a week. Willing to get a coach if they can make me look more jacked and/or help me run faster, jump higher and lift heavier.
Hey folks, I’m about to have knee surgery soon and will be doing physio during recovery. With all this free time over the next 2-3 months, I’m planning to focus heavily on my upper body and get super fit, also for my mental health and work ethic. I’m a 22-year-old guy, 5’10, 185 lbs (a bit chunky but manageable), and I’m ready to push my limits.
Here's my plan for the next 2 months: • Day 1: Chest & Triceps • Day 2: Back & Biceps • Day 3: Shoulders & Abs • Day 4: Rest Day • Day 5: Chest & Triceps (Variations) • Day 6: Back & Biceps (Variations) • Day 7: Shoulders & Abs (Variations)
I want to work out 3 times a day, 6 days a week, using minimal gear like resistance bands, dumbbells, a pull-up bar, and an ab wheel. Need to keep my knee stress-free, so all exercises will be seated, standing upright, or core-focused.
Supplements I’m considering: • Protein Powder • Creatine Monohydrate • Multivitamin • Pre-Workout • Citrulline Malate • Omega-3 Fish Oil
Looking for: • Suggestions for workouts tailored to my setup (upper body only, no knee strain). • Advice on supplements for maximizing muscle growth and recovery. • Gear recommendations to improve my home setup.
I’m really trying to grind these next two months for both physical and mental benefits. Any tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated! What do you guys think? Any advice or hacks to make the most out of this time?
Uhm, have you considered spending this time alone? Just reading, writing, maybe breathing exercises, maybe mediation.. but mostly alone.. a slower life?
Personally, I feel you can build your upper body anytime in life & 2 months isn't that huge time either.. but getting bored, understanding emotions and reading more.. expanding the horizon of your knowledge.. trying to sit with yourself.. and writing about all these can do wonders ✨️
brother paul you are literally so deep. I love it.
Yeah, I understand the 22yo ambition but what you need post surgery is a good recovery plan, not this social media inspired plan. Anything you mess now would hit you in long run. I don't have credentials to suggest but I would follow something like below:
Once you recover, go ahead and become Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Here’s some context. I have been hitting the gym on and off for like a year now. My body weight is 65kgs. I can bench press 60 kgs, can deadlift 120kgs. I can jog 5kms in roughly 30 mins. I am 21 years old. Though I know these are decent...
I joined a gym to gain weight. I took measurements initially and also today. 1.5 kg weight gain and lost a little tummy fat other than that no noticeable other changes.
I discussed my diet with one of the gym trainers, He says it i...
