I had 1st round with hiring manager of a famous SAAS company. It was a 30 min call. He came 20 mins late. Was in hurry. Rejection mail came after a day.
They must have already finalised / hired someone - so either this was done to keep HR team happy or HR team wanted to have a comparative benchmark
