I am a 2023 graduate, and after receiving a decent job offer, I threw a party for my friends. One of my friends invited his friend who is not my friend, and though I didn't refuse, it later stung me when that person landed a better package. What hurt even more was that he didn't throw a party at all. Now, after a year, I've received a job offer that's a thousand times better than the package he got.
