If they offer you a flexi component 12500 per month you can use that amount as car emi it will convert your salary structure than.

Car will be in name of HCL when you leave HCL or complete your loan you will tranfer back the RC from company to your name

In my offer letter, there is a section mentioning three options under flexi basket 1. Leave travel assistance 2. Car lease option and 3. Fuel reimbursement and maintainence. In monthly components the flexi baset shows 25500.

Based on your response, Is it like that I can convert this 25K out of my inhand and set it as monthly emi? (I can set the amount how much monthly emi can be deducted right?

Dont opt for it. Because 12500 is I think too less as an emi for car. And if you opt for it what benefits u r getting coz u r already under taxable income

Don't go for it. There are many disadvantages. You would be better off getting a car outside

HCL car lease policy

How can I get a car on lease from my Employer? A lot of people have told me that I have to pay less if I leave through my employer. Also, can I get tax benefits if I get a car from my employer?
