Hello everyone I want to understand how difficult is it to switch to backend from frontend web-dev for 1 year experience guy. I am not enjoying fixing the padding after implementing complex UI.

Start with node js it will be easier from language PoV . Everything takes time 1 year I nothing in larger scheme of things

I would suggest to find some work in your current org, if they are fine you picking small bug fixes. But yeah before that you need to get your basics right for backend development.
