Hiring at Google

Is Google India still hiring and is it safe to consider joining Google now?

A year or so ago I went through the hiring loop and was advised to try again after a year because my performance wasn’t at par with the level expected for my experience. Fast forward one year and everyone is laying off staff. I’ve now been contacted a couple of times by the same recruiter and am tempted to give it a shot. Would like to hear opinions on whether this is a good idea.

I’m interviewing at L5, aiming to be leveller up to L6 if possible.

They’re not hiring at the moment. Only a few specific roles at max. But I’ve heard hiring will open up in 3+ months.

I dont think they will open that soon, i think atleast 8-9 months till they start hiring again

Hiring is open for very specific roles. Talk to the recruiter and find out the hiring team.
