Hi All,

I got offer from hitachi vantara for Senior full stack engineer. I have 11 years exp, Wanted to know the role hierarchy in the firm and minimum experience required. Currently working as team lead. Need to understand if I’m degrading my role.

For your experience, you can ask for M1/A1(Manager 1 or Architect 1). They probably downplay you to SC2(Senior Consultant 2). Good organization in terms of work culture. Things differ from team to team.

Work experience hierarchy

Is an l5 position at Amazon a good option to enter with 9.5 yrs of experience in a different tech stack? What's the experience levels vs hierarchy mapping at Amazon ? Is it feasible to switch to a dev role post joining as L5 ?
