Reality of DSA based interviews
I once asked an interviewer if I could give him a question to solve and he panicked 🙂
I have given 10+ interviews lately. Only 2 interviewers actually cared about you reaching the solution organically. They actually took the interest to walk with you through your thinking process. The rest don't want you to talk through your thinking process. Just write the damn DSA solution. It should pass all the TCs. Ask 1 or 2 followup questions and call it a day.
Either you can churn out a solution that runs or you get rejected. It's very binary. All they are looking for is Leetcode monkeys

Yes same experience
Even no-name companies are doing this,

Companies and recruiters are so delusional, may be they trying to take advantage of market and people's vulnerability. This is not gonna end well for companies lol, once the market pickups up everyone will just leave the company.
