How do I get back?

25M. Vegetarian. I was doing just fine wrt to fitness a couple of years ago. Went through a surgery then and had to take bed rest for a month. Covid came into picture after that. Couldn't get back to the same level of fitness at all.

Now I feel tired all the time. I try working out now, my body pains and I'm finding it extremely difficult to get out of the vicious cycle of eating bad and waking up tired.

Were any of you in a similar situation? Any suggestions are welcome

Start with a few walks. Try increasing your protein intake a bit( I would not advise supplements without lifting weights). After a few weeks, join a gym.

Why aren't you asking this to your doctor?

That's the next step. This is a suggestion too, IMO.

I would encourage you to try social workout formats (Cult, CrossFit or group sessions). This helped many as group-motivation kicks in once u see everyone making their best efforts.
