How does Motilal Nasdaq 100 ETF works?

I want to know if US Market opens after 8pm according to Indian time, then how does Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 ETF trades according to Indian Market time (9am to 3:30pm)? Does it do after market trading?

Asking here as unable to find explanation on internet.

Joke apart why do you want to track the trading time? ETF&MFs are not for taking the wheel rather sit back and relax. You're already paying TER for that reason.

You can however check NAV cut-off timing and realization.

Go to Google: search for nav cutoff motilal etf 100. Download the pdf form motilal fund house, check for keywords: 'applicable NAV'

Good to see curiosity 🫰🏽 however would not sugg to apply engineering mind set on try to understanding in and out of ETF/MFs 🥲

See its easy to say - sit back and relax. I have just started investing in ETF and my search history is full of such questions 🤣😁

Yes they do after India-market trading (they trade in US hours). Or might have a US-broker who facilitates their orders during India hours. Or a bit of both whichever gives the better price for that trade.

Anyway, it is very specific to them. Other similar ETFs, funds might have different arrangements of their own.

On a completely side note, very very far fetched analogy.

The milk from cattle changes in quality seasonally due to biological reasons. How does Amul (or any other milk provider) ensure that their 3% fat milk is consistent across Seasons?

Cred gets deposits in Mint in different volume than they book loans. How do they manage that cash flow? When there is a huge loan demand, Do they get cash from bank or suddenly raise deposits fast?

When it comes to trading and offering something to retail, every industry has its own methods of supply chain and Quality controls. Motilal, Cred & Amul do the same.
