- What does their SDE profile look like?
- How finance heavy are their tech profiles?
- TC for someone around 7-8 YoE?
- WLB? Growth?

Any idea about how is D.E. Shaw for a fresher. In terms of WLB, work culture, Salary, Hikes and overall. I am an average person, will I be able to survive there.
Looking at recent layoffs in other companies, I am really worried about how companies treat employees, laying them off if they don't perform well. Or even without that.
Are there any layoffs happening?
