how many books have you read this year?
Mine is 8 in total.
71 and counting.
Just finished 'Same as Ever' in a single sitting - such a breezy, high impact, high yield read.

What is motivating you guys to read books. I know we should read and all, but I get sleepy. I kill my time watching world affairs.
Neither I consume cringe social media like insta, and snapā¦, but Iām not able to motivate myself to read books.
Iāve total 7 books now, read 10-12 pages from each of them, thatās it. I see many in here have read 50-60, and itās making me hungry to read atleast one myself.
@satan @GallonMusk
When you read books earlier in life, you might've had books that were forced on you for your English classes.
When I picked up reading again in 2020 (this was after 6-7 years of not reading anything), I just picked up a book by an author that I'd heard had good pacing.
Since then I've had the opportunity to read books that I find super interesting. If something bores me/i don't find interesting then put it down and move on.
Through this filtering process, you'll find books/authors/genres that you like, and would want to read.
Plus, keeping reading/listening to books as a priority helps out a ton :)
Hope this made sense.
