What you think which is worst question
How should we answer this question in the interview- why should we hire you? And does it really make a difference in the selection process? Can the interviewer reject me if they do not like my answer, even if the technical round went well? How much does it matter?
To check if you’re a good fit for the job and company, the recruiters may ask you different kinds of questions. Of those questions, they can also ask you the question “Why should we hire you?” Initially, it may seem a challenging question to answer. But there are a few ways you can answer this question.
Learn about the job posting: When you’ve applied for a particular job position in the company, you must have gone through the job description. After you’ve read the required skills and qualifications, you can make the decision of applying or not applying for the position. So, when you’re asked this question you can say that you have the “XYZ” skills that were mentioned in the job description for this position. And you can use those skills to get the job done.
You can also spend some time researching the company’s goals, culture and values and prepare an answer stating that the company’s goals align with your career objectives and thus you’re looking forward to working with them.
Make sure to answer with confidence. But don’t go on boasting about yourself or don’t even try to force a good impression on the recruiter. Keep your answer concise and full of facts.
The question is to check how you can relate your prior experience with responsibilities company want you to undertake (Atleast as per JD). So try to relate both while preparing for the answer.
Tip: Whenever you get a chance to ask questions from interviewer just try to know more about the Job role, so that you can be better prepared with answer.
