How to ask for mentorship to someone you don't know personally

I know it's a topic covered extensively in blogs, but anyways want to know if anyone of you approached a respectable person for mentorship and journey to the other person agreeing/rejecting.

PS: I'm looking for one being in the early stage of my career.

Just DM on LinkedIn or cold mail. It is very normal to get a request.

Keep it short and simple - send across a couple of lines on you and just say you want their adviseon a couple of things.

If he/she wants to talk more and help you out they’ll themselves offer or you can mention that you'd like more advice from them time and again.

+1, you can also use twitter. Talk on threads you really liked. And want to talk deeper on it.
