How to get Into FAANGMULA roadmap
Hi guys, As you have already read, I am planning to start a roadmap in 2024, YES !
I am not one of those Didi Bhaiya’s doing it for Fame/money. The twist is I am planning to do it anonymously on grapevine and will try to solve as many doubts as i can on DM’s ( Again Anonymously)
I have the roadmap that is completely free, videos, lectures, notes and everything is collected from amazing creators and is already free and i will never recommend any paid course, I PROMISE.
If i get 30+ comments, then i am happy to start the Day 1 to Day 24 ( 6 hours each) detailed roadmap.
Also, since all of us here are working Mon-friday. The roadmap is for 12 weekend (24 days) and IMO that is enough to into Faang game preparation. If you need more you can practice for another 2-3 months on yourself.
Thanks !

So here’s the detailed plan.
Every Saturday and Sunday we will meet on Google meet ( 6-7 pm) for next 12 weeks, try to join using a fake email.
Join the Faang Group on grapevine / or search for the post. Here’s how you would find the post for each of the 24 sessions on grapevine ( example given below). I would post this early morning on every saturday and sunday starting 9th March.
FAANGMULA Roadmap GV Edition [Day 1]:
Date: 9th March. 6:00 PM. Link: a Google Meet link
Topics to be covered: Two pointers. Arrays Easy questions.
Problems to be solved Day 1: This would contain a bunch of leetcode problem links.
For doubts/discussions, use comment section.
and so on for Day 2, Day 3.. Day 24.

@sasta_blind is this also relevant for someone like me who is in 3rd yr of engineering (near the end of 3rd year) and has 0 knowledge about any programming language? Baat free ya paid ki ni hai, baat ye hai ki sure shot rasta mile taaki rat race me na fas jau. Online boht information overload hai iske regarding and follow kisko Karu ye ni samjh ata

No, I don’t want to fluctuate and cover every category, my roadmap assumes you must know any one programming language. Atleast the basics for, while, hashmap, arrays, strings and badic operations on them.

To aapke roadmaps follow karne layak banne k liye mai abhi kya karu and how much time will it take? Assume ki mai 5-6 hrs de skta hu per day

The irony of this coming from Byju's

@Soufle Yeah. I did work at Byjus. Was one of the founding engineers. It’s been a year since i left byjus and i know how difficult it is to make it to a FAANGMULA for a lot of us here but with right guidance its just 3-4 months of consistent hardwork. Hence the post.

Oh no, not that. Was cracking a joke on how Byju (the person) now has to find side hustle since his edu-tech business went down the dumps

One question, why do you think we need it?

@eleCtrik Everyone needs this at some point. Why i want to do this ?
-
I have spent/wasted 30% of my preperation time in reading things that were specific to one particular round and realised that round is very open ended and doesn’t need that much time.
-
I know what are the concepts that you need to learn to solve DSA. You don’t need to solve 450-500 questions on LC, all you need is 150 good questions covering all concepts,
-
Hld and Lld rounds revolves around the same standard questions and concepts. I would be able to group then in the correct order so that its easier for you to grasp.
Also this is optional and i am doing it anonymously so feel free to ignore the post if you don’t need it

Well that's my point, whatever you are mentioning is true but the thing is this has been already done by a lot of people and I'm talking about the optimised approach the one you are mentioning but anyway, I hope it reaches the audience that needs it most. All the best

I’m in

Please follow this post, will be soon posting the plan as a comment here on how we can do it on here and the starting date for the roadmap, hopefully we are going to start 2nd march as Day 1

Awesome. I’ll keep an eye.
I have recently put down papers and I’m 💯 down for this

Hey @sasta_blind any updates on this?
