How to not fall in love?

I started my internship at this startup. Couple of other college students are also here for internship.

And this boy, man! He is not cute or handsome like those who girls drool over. He is nice, very caring, cracks these insanely bad PJs that I laugh on

I know I know, I should be focusing on final exams and placements. Next month, he'll be back to Pune, and I'll be here in Delhi. LDR is stupid

And this is why I am here. Hi seniors, how does one stop themselves from falling in love?

you shouldn't stop falling in love. It's a beautiful experience to feel. Experience it, Embrace it, Feel it. It might not work long or whatever. Long term relationships or marriage are a social construct. But love isn't. So stop suppressing the emotion instead feel the emotion.

You are younger to me, I can add something in this context. Kindly focus on your, this is initial stage of your career journey. It happens sometimes some people meets us and we start liking their qualities. But you need to prioritise your career and studies as of now. liking and crushing on someone is okay. Sometimes we like our friends or anyone who matches our world of vibes etc. Enjoy your time as a friend with him talk, let both of us grown and if something has to happen it will. But currently just don't overly emotionally involved with anyone.

Don't worry about long distance. Reading this, it seems you have your final year left. You can still talk and get to know more about each other in this time. You might just get a great friend for life. If feelings develop more over time then shoot your shot.

Wait for three months. You'll remember details about him that you don't "see" now and start hating him :D
