Hypocrisy of tech junta

Everyone keeps blaming and shaming startups saying that they deserve to go through hell if they don't post profits, the same people boast about their high salaries which have become possible only due to these startups coming up in the first place. Secondly, they all cry when the same Start-ups do layoffs to stay afloats, or when big tech did layoffs to increase their profits.

Good points. Although, I think big tech is way more to blame for the high salaries - they are market makers and startups have to follow in order to attract talent. Even now, top big tech salaries are easily 1.5x to 2x of startup salaries in tech.
