I need to make a career shift to Data Science

I have working experience of 5+ years in the banking and IT industry. I am skilled in SQL and PL/SQL languages. I am working on Oracle Fusion Products.

I find Data science and analytics fascinating, I want to make a career shift in this field.

Please suggest how I can make this shift happen with no years of actual work experience in the data science and analytics field.

Hi, So your are working on Oracle Fusion products right. Have you thought of trying the. Functional roles like SCM,HCM,CRM like that in fusion itself and try for a consultant role. Because the consultant roles too is offering nice pays. The Data science is really a high paying job too but the skills required is top of ladder, it needs heavy maths, stats,DSA skills, programming as you already mentioned. I would say if you are interested in Data science it is better to get trained in a centre with placement opportunities. Would say to try the training institutes in Hyderabad.

Yes i got a training for some months but later quit because the person's training was bad. And i decided to move with a little technical role like data engineering,azure cloud or devops.
